Derek is an accomplished pastry chef who honed his skills in top hotels and restaurants in the USA and Canada. He has competed internationally and was recognized as one of Dessert Professionals' Top 10 Pastry Chefs in 2014. Derek served as Valrhona's corporate pastry chef for North America for 17 years, teaching master classes across North America and Europe. He also co-hosts the acclaimed culinary podcast @untemperedpodcast.
